Temple Beth Sholom, in the heart of the U.P.
Temple Beth Sholom is focused on making our small but active community truly feel like a family. Our members are from all walks of life, ages, family types and backgrounds. We are proud to invite those seeking a sacred community whether they were raised Jewish or not. We work to provide opportunities for everyone to find their place; whether it is at our religious services, adult study, family educational programs, children's education, interfaith activities, secular festivities, as a friend to our community, we invite you to our community.

"Ahead of Time" the story of Ruth Gruber

Temple Beth Sholom is hosting DocuMonday at Peter White Public Library at 7pm on March 3rd for the showing of "Ahead of Time" in the Community Room.

As the hosts of this event, TBS participants are asked to please bring a dish to pass (desserts--Israeli themed if possible).

Email tbs.ishpeming@gmail.com to sign up to bring a dessert.

Participants are encouraged to bring a cushion for comfort during the show.

Karlyn Rapport and the PWPL have been instrumental in putting this event together, so hopefully we can show them our support by attending in droves!
Temple Beth Sholom's Windows

TBS Sabbath Window

This window, located in the front hall at TBS, symbolizes the Sabbath. In the lower part of the window, a mother's hands bless the Sabbath candles. Above are images that depict the Six Days of Creation. Photograph was taken by Helen Kahn's brother.
